January 2008 – Time to…
Good morning this Lord's
day, be mindful of the Lord's kindness to you this morning for each day
is a give from God. Pray for those mentioned and those you know add
Robin Evelyn's daughter to your list. She is going to have to have
back surgery soon. Christy has been having some test run and we know
that her liver is having problems at this time. So add those to the
prayer list please.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
" To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the
heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a
time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to
heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and
a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast
away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace,
and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to get, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, amid a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to
sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a
time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace."
Most people try to
ignore that there a time and place for every thing our nation today is
no longer willing to go to war and see it through. How could Jesus be
our perfect example and sacrifice for sin when he taught of love and
turning the other check went into the temple and turn the money changers
tables over? Answer: it was the right time to do it. Perfection may be
a matter of timing, so do not be so hasty to judge your brother and make
sure you are using your time wisely. Chaplain Tex
